Medical Admission Circular 2023-2024:
The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Bangladesh has published the medical admission circular for the academic year 2023-2024. The circular contains important information for candidates who are interested in applying for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in Bangladesh.
Eligibility :
To be eligible for admission, candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination or equivalent examination with a minimum score of 80% marks in the science group. Candidates must also be citizens of Bangladesh and must not be more than 25 years of age on the date of submission of the application form.
MBBS Admission Test Marks Distribution
A total of 100 MCQ examinations will be held in the medical college. Of these, Physics 20, Chemistry 25, Biology 30, English 15 and General Knowledge: History of Bangladesh and Liberation War 10 will be held. See more below for details.

Application Fee
The application process for admission to medical colleges in Bangladesh is online. Candidates can apply online through the DME website. The application fee is Tk. 1,000 for Bangladeshi candidates and US $50 for foreign candidates.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates for admission to medical colleges in Bangladesh is based on a merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the HSC examination and an entrance test conducted by the DME. The entrance test will be held on 25 November 2023.
